Penatani

We work with 200 young coffee farmers in villages around Community Forests (HKm) in Lahat Regency, South Sumatra, helping them write stories about their lives, farms, and environment.

Through the platform we developed, Penatani.id, these community stories connect across villages—raising awareness about forest conservation, strengthening farmer networks, and creating green business opportunities from the village.

Strengthening Media Literacy

SakaWarga Foundation, in partnership with IREX—a global nonprofit that advances education, leadership, and access to information—conducted focus group discussions (FGDs) across five regions in Indonesia to evaluate Literata.id, a USAID-supported media literacy platform. Engaging 105 participants, including women, youth, and rural communities, the FGDs found that Literata.id is useful and user-friendly, and provided recommendations to simplify language, enhance content, and strengthen features to make it more relevant in addressing misinformation in Indonesia.
